2.9 miles-Park Point Beach House. 5000 Minnesota Ave. Six sand volleyball courts, softball diamond, soccer field, concessions, lifeguards, bathrooms and changing area. Popular with active teens and young adults.

3.5 miles-Hiking Trail. Starts just to the left of airport entrance taking you through old growth forest and sand dunes to the Superior/Duluth Port entry. Out and back is 4 miles.
